As a Shunting and Local Line Driver, I play a vital role in the daily lives of millions of passengers, providing them with safe, high-quality transport. Every day, after 6 months' training, I prepare and drive passenger trains. After assembling the cars and carrying out the necessary checks, I transport the empty trains between the station, the waiting tracks and the maintenance center, scrupulously respecting safety procedures and railway signalling. I play an active role in energy conservation, consuming less than 2% of the transport sector's energy.
